We have offered training in agricultural extension, basic statistics, health, nutrition, cultural esteem, and methods to record oral traditions, in courses lasting from a few days to several months. We have trained a small group of translators and have a scholarship program for Tsimane' who pursue higher education, and offer training workshops for them on a range of topics such as accounting, basic computers, and project evaluation. The project on the expansion of pigeon pea cultivation described earlier has a strong component of farmer-to-farmer training.
