She has collected and analyzed panel data on ethnobotanical knowledge, focusing on the reliability of different formats of data collection and on empirical estimates of the covariates of ethnobotanical knowledge. Her work in progress centers on a comparative study of the social returns to local knowledge in Bolivia, India, and Spain.
