• Milenka Aguilar
BS in biology, Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, La Paz, studied plant tissue bio-technology, and has experience in
laboratory work on plant tissue and in environmental impact. At present she helps with the annual waves of data collection.
• Esther Conde
BS en Biology, Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, La Paz, studied plant tissue bio-technology, and has experience in
laboratory work with plant tissue and field work research among the Tsimane’ communities. Currently she helps collect and clean data.
• Damián Durvano
Technician in agronomy from the Casarave School. At present he works as a technician assistant and promotes the
cultivation of pigeon pea among the Tsimane’ communities.
• Yerko Lobo
Engineer, studied management of industrial crops at the Universidad Autónoma Gabriel Rene Moreno, Santa Cruz,
Bolivia, and has experience in seed certification and reforestation. He currently works introducing a multi use legume plant among the
Tsimane’ communities.
• Paulino Pache
Has field experience in data collection and translator. He has worked as a research assistant and community facilitator in
Tsimane’ language. At present he works as a research assistant and helps to collect data in the communities
• Manuel Roca
University student in agronomy, Universidad Técnica del Beni, San Borja. He has experience translating texts from
Tsimane’ to Spanish, and data collection in the field. Currently he works with radio programs to promote the diffusion of pigeon peas in
Tsimane’ communities.
• Evaristo Tayo
Field assistant for data collection and translator, directs workshops in the communities in Tsimane’ language.
He promotes the use of pigeon peas as a feed for chickens.
